1. About this service

FireRisk Connect is a referral and matching service. We connect businesses seeking a fire risk assessment with independent assessment providers. We do not carry out fire risk assessments ourselves.

2. No guarantee of assessment

We do not guarantee that a provider will accept your enquiry, that an assessment will be carried out, or that any particular outcome will result from using this service. The provider is responsible for confirming suitability, scope, price and availability directly with you.

3. Your responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and truthful information in your enquiry
• You are responsible for the legal duty to ensure a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment is carried out — using this referral service does not transfer that duty
• You should not include sensitive personal information in the enquiry form

4. Provider relationships

Any contract for a fire risk assessment is between you and the provider, not between you and FireRisk Connect. We are not a party to that agreement and accept no liability for the provider's work, advice or conduct.

5. Limitation of liability

FireRisk Connect is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the act or omission of any provider referred through this service. Our liability is limited to the referral function only.

6. No endorsement

Matching a provider through this service does not constitute an endorsement, certification or guarantee of that provider's competence, qualifications or quality of work. You should carry out your own due diligence before engaging a provider.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
